Direction Of Use

Always follow the instructions on the label. Dilute the formulation with water and do not use this product with oil. For best results, thoroughly wash out sprayer and screen with water and detergent before use. Although, this insecticides does not cause staining or damage to painted or varnished surfaces, however, treat a small area and allow to dry to determine that there is not staining on walls. Let treated surfaces dry before allowing humans and pets to contact surfaces. Purpose and target pest :-For public health use for controlling mosquitoes transmit malaria (Anopheles culicifacies) Spray deposit rate (mg ai./sq. meter :- 25 Spray deposit rate (gm ai./sq. meter :- 0.025 Gm a.i. per 500 sq. meter :- 12.5 Dose per 500 sq. meter surface area (formulation dose (ml) :- 125 Dose per 500 sq. meter surface area (Water volume liter) :- 10 The

preparation of the spray suspension is made just before the start of the spray operations. The required quantity of insecticide is measured (125 ml of Lambda cyhalothrin 9.7% CS) from the container with a measuring cylinder and poured into 10 liter water and is stirred vigorously with a stick to obtain a uniform suspension. The suspension then poured into another bucket through a cloth sieve to remove any particulate matter to avoid clogging of nozzle of the spray pump. Make sure the sprayer is properly calibrated (forward speed, flow rate and pressure) to give an even application at

the correct volume.

Purpose and target pest : Impregnation of bed nets to prevent attack from mosquitoes Anopheies fluviatilis Dosage per sq. m of neeting (a.i. (mg)) : 10.0 Dosage per sq. m of neeting (Concentration of spray fluid) :- 0.05% Dosage per sq. m of neeting (Quantity of spray fluid (ml)) :- 800-1000 (depending on the type of the net) Method of Application and spray equipment: For impregnation of mosquito nets (bed nets), Dilution Icon 2.43% CS with water to make 0.05% concentration, i.e mix 0.5ml in one liter of water Spraying: 1. Hang the nets outdoors 2. Spray the nets with 0.05% spray solution. 3. Leave the nets to dry before use Dipping: 1. Soak the net in a bowl of 0.055 concentration. 2. Remove the net

from the treatment bowl and gently squeeze out excess liquid. 3. Leave the treated net on a plastic sheet and leave it dry, spread horizontally in the shade.

Deltamethrin 2.5% + d-transallethrin 2.0% EC is a broad specturm insecticide for use against household insects like cockroaches, houseflies, mosquitoes. It has a good knock-down action and also a long period of residual toxicity against the house hold insects. It is a contace and stomach poison .

Direction Of Use

Deltamethrin 2.5% + d-transallethrin 2.0% EC not to be used on any Agricultural crops. "To be used only by Pest Control operators, Commercial establishments, Government agencies for large scale disinfestation, etc." Do not use concentrate as such; to be diluted before applicatioon . The concentrate to be diluted in the ratio 1:50 water to make a spray solution containing Deltamethrin 2.5% + d-transallethrin 2.0% EC. After diluting the concentrate(1:50) ratio pour the spray solution in an ordinary conventional household sprayer(Flit-Pump) or hand compression knapsace sprayers. Spray it straight as spot or space application. FOR CONTROL OF HOUSEHOLD INSECTS: Cockroaches & House flies: Spray ready-to-use solution on all nooks and corners of the kitchen, bathroom and storerooms covering floor surface, cupboards, shelves, wash basins and drainage areas. Mosquitoes: Spray on the walls, windows and door curtains and also the sapce

application.

Recommendation:

A)For bed-net impregnation to protect against adult mosquitoes. It remains effective for about 6-8 months.

B)For control of cockroaches, mosquitoes and houseflies as residual spray on surfaces. Depending on the surface sprayed the effectiveness with last for 3 to 4 months.

A) Bed Net Impregnation

Step I: 1) The surface area of the net is determined by using the following formula:

                Surface area = 2(a + b) + c  Where,

a= length x height,  b = height x Width,   c = length x width

2) Volume of water: The volume of water required for one net can be standardized by determination of water just sufficient for completely soaking the bed net without causing any dripping by trial and error. For example if the water absorption capacity of nets is say 2 litres and area is 10 sq.m the recommended dosage for every sq.m of cloth is 1 ml of Rapier.

Therefore, Rapier required for 10 sq.m bed net will be 10ml in 2 litre of water.

Step II: The required quantity of Rapier and water should be mixed thoroughly in wide plastic basin. During impregnating normal precaution should be followed as for the use of other insecticide i.e. Use of protective clothing, rubber gloves etc to avoid contact with eye, nose, mouth and wash hands thoroughly after work.

Dip the net in the solution until it is properly soaked. The solution should be applied thoroughly to the net by repeated rubbing and squeezing so as to distribute the solution evenly to all parts of the net.

Step III: Do not hang the net for drying to avoid dripping; instead the impregnated nets are laid on a non-absorbent surface (Such as a rubber ground sheet) and allowed to become semi-dry, moist or half dry nets are then hung on a wire and allowed to dry completely. Drying (both stages) must be done in the shade.

Use of treated bed net: Rapier treated bednet after completely drying can be replaced over the bed and used normally. It remains effective for about 6-8 months. Repeated washing of bed net removes the insecticide. Therefore avoid washing. If washed, treat again with Rapier.

B) SURFACE TREATMENT

 Rapier can be sprayed as water suspension with ordinary hand compression knapsack sprayers, household hand sprayers and atomizers on walls, ceilings, floor, hiding places of household pests to have a rapid knockdown and residual effect.

Remover is a high performance, residual insecticide that provides control of mosquitoes, housefly and cockroaches for longer duration. It is suitable for use in domestic and institutional premises & public buildings. It is of low toxicity to humans and can be used in hospitals, kitchen restaurants and food processing and food storage areas.

Direction of Use:

It is suitable for the control of crawling and flying insects on domestic, public and industrial premises. It is suitable for use with most types of knapsack sprayers and other residual spray equipment commonly used to control public health pests. Application should be made at low pressure and with a nozzle that produces even sized droplets. It should be thoroughly mixed with water to give the required concentration. Treated surface should be thoroughly sprayed to the point of minimal run-off. The applicator should ensure uniform coverage and pay particular attention to those areas where insects are most likely to come in contact with the insecticides.
